May 1982 - The Capelet

The capelet won by an overwhelming majority! I'll make it with Lion Brand Jeans yarn in the color Stovepipe.  It's a worsted weight yarn but probably a lot softer than yarn from 1982.   I'm hoping I can use the capelet at my desk in the cold air-conditioned summer.   
My cousin said that my paternal grandmother made one of these for herself and one for one of her daughters so I'm carrying on the tradition!
