This week you get to vote on the year and have a chance to win Barby Q. For August, I’ve narrowed down the choices to two different years. You get to vote on the year. If you vote with a comment on my blog with what year you think I should choose and why, I’ll put you in a drawing to win the July finished project. Chose either 1978 Or 1984 I’m off to the CGOA Chain Link conference in Portland this week. I’m taking a few roses and airplanes to give away at the airports. I'll post the winning year along with the pattern choices next week.

The wrap coat could be cute in an ombré color scheme, creams, pinks or blues, but one size fits all makes me nervous so my vote is 1984

That isn't the pattern I'd make. You have to pick the year without knowing what the pattern choices would be :)

Finally got around to signing up for the blog. His is really awesome, Alana! And I vote 1984. For no good reason, really, other than I have no specific memory of 1978. And the 70s were kinda odd.

They were odd. The 80's were odd too though in a totally different way. Thanks for voting!

I vote for 1978! My sister was born that year and I was four. And the 70s were amazing years for woolen handicrafts - I’m dying to see the treasures within that magazine!

1978! Based solely on the cover model's cute dimoles. 😂
